Answear to Riddler's Riddle...?

Post by noman »

Why is a daffodil like the Jetstream?

I took a crack at it
http://www.66batman.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/Y ... 1295579329

However I didnt know that Riddler crime was about boxing theme...{Ring Around the Riddler} and even If I did I still didnt get it right... :ugeek: :x

Here are a couple answears...
https://answers.yahoo.com/question/inde ... 903AATsX0e
http://www.goodjobbrain.com/blog/2013/3 ... rivia.html

I"S say the two nearest are... :o
Yahoo answears:
"The best answer I can think of is that jet streams flow, therefore a jet stream can be said to be a flower."
Good Job brain Triva answears:
"Jet stream/Daffodill Q: Both are the same when flowing. A Daffodill in the wind, Water in a river. I am 9, and so, very proud with this answer. :D"

Thanks to Doska and D for figuring these out  :P

Only question is how are is riddle connected with boxing?
And Boxing is one sport where a boxer has to FLOW with the Punches.... :P :x and in Ring Around the Riddler the Prince of Conundrums tries to control the Ring...

Interestingly the series never gave the real names of the Big Four of Supervillians:
Joker...Jack Napier
Pengiun..Oswald Cobblepott
Catwoman..Sylvia Caryle
Riddler......Edward Nigma {Riddle}
Nore is much ever written about their pre crime days
Joker in his youth was a hyponist
Penguin was a actor
Riddler...is described by Commisioner Gordon as the best safecracker that existed {Bookworm epsiode}
Bookworm..is a frustrated novelist who suffers from Writers block

In the original script the answer was:

When it leaves a yellow streak. It was one of the riddles to taunt Batman.

"Jack Napier" is an invention of the 1989 movie and should not be factored in at all.

Jack Napier was a combination of Jack Nicholson's name and a tribute to Alan Napier.

That's all well and good but the point is that it is not Batman 'canon.'

The Riddler's name was 'Edward Nigma' in his first appearance in Detective #140. The "Nashton" name was retrofitted later on by writers who did not want him to have such a gimmicky name.
He flies and fights-BATMAN!
Purity and virtue-BATMAN!
Cowards run away!
Batman saves the day!
Also, Boy Wonder Robin.
Batman and Robin-caped crusaders at night!
BIFF! POW! BAM! BATMAN!

Saw an old "A Riddle aday Keeps the Riddler Away"
Gorshin was at his absolute Riddler Zaniest--The King of Crime; The Prince of Puzzlers; the Count of Condudrums--incidently he was in a formal Riddler Suit--complete with green Gloves and a green vest-with a green front and a green Question marks[?] on Back
