Why would the sign say "300-foot drop". Wouldn't "High Cliff" be a better warning? Or maybe, 'Careful, that's quite a drop''.
Road crew: "Hey boss, we put up the '300 foot drop' sign out on Sebring Point." Boss: "Aaaaghhh... That's only a 283 foot drop. Take it down! The '300 foot drop' sign belongs out on Bently Heights!"

In the second season three-parter episode: “The Penguin Declines,” just after the Batmobile arrives in the Batcave with Venus (and a trunkful of criminals), as the camera pulls back, the boom mike is very clearly visible in the reflection on the glass of the Bat Spectrum Analyser (? - the equipment with the series of flashing horizontal blocks of color) in the lower right corner.

They were just too distracted by that great view of the Hollywood sign…

Also, I see what you did there… :D

Another random observation (and perhaps a case of accidental continuity):

In the first Penguin two-parter, Penguin and his goons disguise themselves whenever they're in the midst of crimes (as opposed to merely plotting them). That generally means wearing Robin-style eyemasks, but in the scene in The Penguin's a Jinx when goons place unconscious Dawn Robbins on a couch next to unconscious Alfred, henchmen Hawkeye and Sparrow wear latex fright masks instead.

The mask that Hawkeye wears in that scene is the same one worn by the "hold-up man" Pengy pretends to thwart in the opening scene of "The Penguin Goes Straight."

I always thought it was strange that Molly and Riddler didn't unmask Robin, but rather, created a mask of him with mask in place, along with hair.

There's another episode where Robin's mask in nearly pulled off in some pink goo he is face-planted in. Another time he almost lost his secret identity.

Any other close calls you've seen?

The opening scene of The Ogg and I, in which Egghead and Olga kidnap Commissioner Gordon via hot-air balloon, reuses stock footage of a red-white-and-blue balloon previously seen in the Puzzler two-parter.

The other time that springs to mind is at the end of the fight in Pop Goes The Joker when Burt's face is smooshed into the pink clay(?)

According to the first draft of the script, it's supposed to be salt-water taffy.
