Villians, "Fab Four" and more

Post by BatmanFan102 »

I think it is generally agreed upon by all fans of the "Batman" television series from 1966-68 that the top four villains are Joker, Penguin, Catwoman and Riddler.

I have 2 exercises for you, my friends, to do on this post.

The first is, which 4 are the next "fab 4" of villains? I'm basing this solely off of the villains featured on the live-action TV series only. The only requirement is that there are 3 males and 1 female, keeping with the same ratio as Joker, Penguin, Catwoman & Riddler.

For me I'd select King Tut, Mr. Freeze, Siren and False Face. I had considered Egghead, but he ended up being too much of a wuss to make the list.

Now, the second exercise is to make an unfabulous four. The four WORST/weakest villains, again with 3 males and 1 female...

Mine are - Chandel, Minstrel, Lola Lasagne and Colonel Gumm.

Minerva, Archer, Dr Cassandra's Husband (so inconsequential I forgot his name), Lord Fogg.

The next 'fab four'-Mad Hatter, Shame, Bookworm, and Black Widow

The 'bottom feeders'-Chandell, Colonel Gumm, Sandman...I am torn between Marsha and Siren, but I suppose Siren gets the nod
He flies and fights-BATMAN!
Purity and virtue-BATMAN!
Cowards run away!
Batman saves the day!
Also, Boy Wonder Robin.
Batman and Robin-caped crusaders at night!
BIFF! POW! BAM! BATMAN!

I have to agree with your "B" team Fab Four list--only if Freeze is the Sanders version.

Mine are - Chandel, Minstrel, Lola Lasagne and Colonel Gumm.
Unfabulous Four: Minerva, Puzzler, Chandel and Archer. Dry or ridiculous characters--even for this version of Batman.

Egghead---great premise and interesting visually

The Siren---the only other impressive villainesses are Marsha and Nora Clavicle, the latter wouldn't want to team up with any group with men in it. Since The Siren was only in one episode, she's in.

You've got brains and seduction, you now need some kind of physical threat of some sort. Maybe Shame. I' guess I'll go with:

Mr. Freeze---Preminger version so his suit keeps him cool and he's got the physical threat of his freeze gun.

False Face---his deceptive quick change skills are different from every one else in the group.

Egghead, The Siren, Mr. Freeze, False Face.

For worst:

Col. Gumm, Evol Ekdal, Lola Lasagne, The Archer.

Would go with Siren, King Tut, Bookworm and Minstrel as my second four. I think Siren and Tut would have fun commenting on each other's clothing style and I believe Minstrel was very underrated.

Bottom four: Olga, Ffogg, Chandell, Archer.

My hobbies include gazing at the Siren and doing her bidding, evil or otherwise.

The New Fab Four:

Mr. Freeze,
The Mad Hatter,
Anna Gram ( I know, she's a moll, but you have to start somewhere and I love the outfit, Moth was a close second)
King Tut

Unfabulous four:

Archer
Puzzler
Lola Lasagne
Louie the Lilac
