The Guard at the Gotham Library that was knocked out by the Riddler in "Ring of Wax"
Was that a cameo by comedian.voice actor Mel Blank?

It didn't look like him, so I doubt it.

One thing about the opening scene that I hadn't noticed before was that the "Mayor" of Gotham City made remarks before the unveiling of the statue. No name, but it obviously wasn't Mayor Linseed. I suppose those looking for continuity could say that the unnamed mayor had died in office and Linseed's campaign against the Penguin later that year was to be officially elected.

Trust me, if it were Mel Blanc, you'd know it. He was very distinctive looks-wise as well as voice. Plus, I doubt they'd have passed up an opportunity to have Mel speak, even just a single word.
