New "To The Batpoles!" podcast! We discuss "Joker Goes to School"/"He Meets His Match, The Grisly Ghoul", including the well-written scenes and weird errors, and the surprising susceptibility of Gotham’s teenagers to the lure of crime.

Plus: Donna Loren (Susie) gets a screen to herself in the closing credits. If you're not sure why she rated that, Tim will fill us in.

Any other observations about this story? I'm sure we didn't say everything there is to say about it!

I really like this episode. The only thing that bothered me was when Batman telling Dick to fake a headache and meet him in the Batcave. Waiting till the school day was over would've been more Batman appropriate lol.

The opening narration says "Normal after school activities at Woodrow Roosevelt High School." School was over.

True, and Romero's Joker had the whole 'battle for Gotham's soul' angle in this episode. Tempting the students to cheat and give in to easy living.

Since I was a schnick until now when viewing this episode I always wonder how the gumballs in the machine taste?

What I really wonder is which building in the studio lot did they use for the high school as they used it repeatedly in other episodes? It was the Gotham Museum in a following Riddler episode, for one.
