I agree with the ruling.

I'm shocked the guy thought he could get away with it. Building a generic cool black car and calling it a Batmobile is one thing (sort of). Building cars that are exact replicas of cars used in a TV series and two films? How could he possibly think DC-Warner Bros wouldn't take notice?

Hi Capecodbatman,
I certainly hope you are right. From the photos I've seen, Mark does beautiful work. Do we know whether this ruling effects him in any way?

He obtained a license to manufacture the '66 Batmobile. He is producing them legally.Flyinggrayson wrote:Hi Capecodbatman,

Making for yourself is one thing, making and selling is another. I agree with the ruling also.

With the news about the DC Comics lawsuit hitting the internet like the Batram of the Batmobile, a lot of people have wondered if this will affect Fiberglass Freaks. The answer is no. Fiberglass Freaks was officially licensed by DC Comics on September 23rd, 2010, and continues to sell and build licensed 1966 Batmobile replicas. Please call, email, or message our office if you have any questions: 574-722-3237. Thanks!
