I, too, am deeply saddened for the family's loss. He gave the world an iconic image that is beloved by so many....Thank You, King of the Kustomizers...George Barris.

Sad news indeed. Yet another member of the Batman 66 family has passed away. I'm still reeling over Yvonne Craig's passing, and on a more personal note, my brother-in-law who passed Oct. 30th of this year too.

Barris did awesome work, with Batmobiles, Munstermobiles and countless other vehicles.

Rest in peace Mr. Barris and condolences to his family and friends, especially those who are on these boards.

I'm going to try and make it out to the service and take my Hot Rod.
My 1929 Ford has a lot of design influence from George's Ala Kart Roadster Pickup.

Hopefully see you there, Jeremy! It'd be great to meet you, despite such sad circumstances.

I will never forget the times I got to spend with George and the dream of mine that he made come true!...
a photo-op in THE #1 car!...with my son in full Bat-regalia!

He was so gracious and fun to be around! He is sorely missed!
