I put the show on exactly at 7:30 pm and watched part 1. I'm saving part 2 for Thursday night in order to do it right. ;) I found as I was watching my mind kept drifting back to that night 50 years ago. I kept wondering what it was like for people to see such an outrageous show in rich, wild colors and all the feelings, thought, and emotions that were created and drove Batmania to explode everywhere? That, and the food pictures that were previously posted also made me wonder about life in a 1966 home at that time? A time when the family would still gather around the living room TV set and share the visual experience rather than today's electronic advances that seem to be increasingly dividing us. It was something special and something we'll never experience again. Something to truly be treasured in all its aspects 50 years later.

I really hope everyone enjoyed this evening. Let's do it again at the 75-year mark! :D
