50th Anniversary "Smack in the Middle"
In celebration of the 50th anniversary this week of Batman, here's images from pt 2 "Smack in the Middle."
Enjoy. And no, I will not be doing this for the entire series. I already want my life back after doing just these two. Lol.

Thank you, Scott! What an amazing job you did on both parts to capture all the highlights! It reminds me of the Viewmaster images!

I'm glad to got the scene where the batmobile was still in flat black and grey striping. They did a pretty good job of reusing footage without it looking TOO obvious. Thanks for putting the effort into this.
I'm on Instagram as kustomjeff if you want to see more toy pics and some motorcycle stuff too.

That's the same thing I said when I saw his Part 1 pictures, Jim! In fact, I'd break out my View Master with Catwoman right now, if I hadn't lost an eye last year.Jim K, Bat fan wrote:Thank you, Scott! Awesome....I howl at Burt's effeminate pose while playing Molly in disguise. I bet the crew teased him mercilessly.

Gernot and anyone else with a viewmaster reel-- Target has viewmasters for sale in their RETRO toy section-- so bring those reels back to life!
Scott- Amazing job with these! I know how much work it was and how hard it was to choose the right shot-- you've got a future as a comic book or storyboard artist my friend!

Well, maybe not the ENTIRE series!...but maybe for "The Purr-fect Crime"/"Better Luck Next Time" episodes?!Scott Sebring wrote: Enjoy. And no, I will not be doing this for the entire series. I already want my life back after doing just these two. Lol.
It'd be like the ULTIMATE viewmaster offering!

To reiterate: First-class job! Odd to compare the Riddler's mask the way it looks all puckered in the hideout close-ups (he can barely see through the left eyehole), and freshly pressed in the shots inside the Rolls-Royce.

Thanks for the caps, Scott.
Sort of reminds me of the volume of images used for the Bantam Star Trek photonovels from 1977. If Batman photonovels were published back then (with this image quality), my parents would have needed wild horses to pull me away from each book!

I was thinking the same thing. The photon ovens came out right at the beginning of the home video boom so the timing was bad for them to really catcheap on.BATWINGED HORNET wrote:Thanks for the caps, Scott.
