Sharon Wynters Dubbed

Post by Quarhog »

Nobody ever mentions this but - ironically, considering that the plot involves Catwoman stealing celebrities' voices - Sharon Wynters is obviously dubbed as Eenie in 'The Cat's Meow'/'The Bat's Kow Tow'; and it doesn't appear to be her voice that we fleetingly hear during her brief bit as the Apache Girl in 'Westworld' either. Does anyone know why?

That makes no sense. Could she have over-dubbed her own voice? According to he website she is an accomplished singer -- and has a pretty voice! But it's possible. Adam West was dubbed in the "spaghetti western" he did -- "The Relentless Four" (1965) . And who in their right minds would ever dub Adam West?

She certainly sounds like Eenie in the cancer awareness clip; but I still think she sounds dubbed in 'Batman'. Maybe she post-synched her own voice (a common practice) and the acoustics simply weren't quite right. But have a look and see what the rest of you think...
