Batboat Help

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what the silver part that's on the fin of the Batboat and what it does?The part that I'm talking about is toward the rear of the fin(see attached picture).Also,does anybody have any screenshots of the dock where the Batboat was at in the tv series.I need pictures of the whole dock from top to bottom and especially where the Batmobile pulls up and parks before they slide down the single Batpole.Thanks for any help that someone can give me.

I always thought the silver part was just to make it look bat wing shaped without having to cut the rear fin that way.

I need a close up picture of where the stairs lead to a smaller platform that leads to another set of stairs that go all the way down to the Batboat itself.I need to see if that smaller platform is attached to the dock itself or if it has 4 pillars (1 for each corner)that go into the water.Thanks for any help or pictures that someone can provide for me.
