Hi all,
I just found your forum a couple of days ago. Thanks for the registration.
Of course, I love the Batman TV series (which is why I'm here) and grew up watching it regularly along with LIS and other wonders of the sixties. I was born in '69 so I had to be content with repeats I'm afraid.
I am looking to put a '66 Batman suit together over the next year or so. I've done some other costuming so I know the value of patience and research with these things. From what I've seen so far, you have a good deal of valuable information here and some wonderfully knowledgable people to call upon.

I'm a part of the 501st. I started with a Stormtrooper but moved on to Boba Fett soon after. I just finished making a mannequin for my outfit yesterday, so here's a pic of how it stands at the moment:

There are a few fellow Aussies on board already. The Bat fan reach is global. I am a few years older than you born in 1961 and remembering first watching the show in black and white in 1969 . It wasn't till the 80's that I caught up with repeats of the show and enjoyed them for the first time in colour. If you are looking for a bat suit you will not find a better forum for information and appreciation. My first advice would be to contact Chuck Williams. He can provide the most amazing cowls as well as an amazing set of patterns for both Caped crusader and Sidekick costumes.
Enjoy your time here and be amazed at the level of knowledge that is available.
