a modern casting addendum

Post by njboywonder »

A good number of years ago (more than I realized when Scott or Ben sent me the link to the page last year), I initiated what turned out to be a very well thought out take on (then) viable contemporary casting for a new version of the show.

The funny thing about it is that despite input from many members and our coming up with some really extraordinary choices for so many other characters, two that were lacking were Batman and Robin. I'd suggested Jeffrey Donovan and Matt Long--passable but not perhaps not the absolute best options.

Lately I've been seeing commercials for a returning show on, I think, ABC, starring someone whom I notice every time, perhaps because of how he's dressed (tuxes, etc.) would have (at least at that time) been a better choice for Bruce Wayne and Batman.

That would be Peter Krause. I think he'd handle the voice well also.

Funny thing is that at one point way back when, a great Robin option popped into my head, but I could never remember it beyond that one time.
