While my math is bad, it's not that bad-- yes they upped the goal to 5000 signatures from 2500 last night.
Odd.
But still, sign and share-- let's see if this can happen.

great idea!! there should be a tv icon museum, where as such these people would be immortalized for future generation. NOT that they would ever be forgotten, just nice to keep them with us long after.

A prognostication:

June 2017: Petition gathers enough signatures to achieve recognition.

August 2017: Social media account announces the city of Walla Walla is "looking into" the Adam West Batman statue project.

January 2018: City announces plan with rendering of Adam in costume holding a batarang, but the art is clearly Photoshopped over an image of the Hot Toys Batman.

September 2018: In honor of Adam's 90th birthday, the city unveils the new statue. Awkwardly proportioned statue is leaping in the Life Magazine pose.

Only kidding. I think it's a great idea, and I hope it happens (with excellent execution)!
