RIP, Giganta.

A'Leshia Brevard, known to us as Giganta in the Legends of the Super-Heroes specials, has died at age 79. I saw her perform in the play "Bedroom Farce" at a dinner theatre near where I live in the late '80s.

As (to the best of my knowledge) the only fan of Legends on this board this is really sad news. I remember seeing this for the first time at a Star Trek convention in the 80s and thinking she was Queen Kong/Matilda The Hun from G.L.O.W. Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling. When I got my own copy I finally realized that it wasn't her.

The Giganta segment with The Atom is probably the best part of The Roast (the weaker of the two specials). I wish Legends had been better produced/received so that we could have had more adventures and given more attention to all of the characters. R.I.P.
