Awesome breaking of the fourth wall and respect for Adam West and Christopher Reeve. To me, they did more for their characters than anyone who has followed. Make no mistake, the actors since, good or bad, have followed. West and Reeve led. They took them off the page and brought them into the physical world.

Having mentioned other nods to the 60s TV show from the modern comics, I get the feeling we don’t have many comic book readers on board. Too bad. The modern comic books are aware, as well as appreciative, of the impact the show had on the character. It’s always fun to see the nods.
