Red Batsuit?
What's the story behind the Batsuit being red in the movie posters from (what I assume is) overseas?

Don't forget this one;
That one's my personal favorite.
Artistic License in the Italian Posters or the artist never saw the show and just assumed Batman was red.
I like the look.

Is this the Soviet Batman, alongside Mark Millar's "Red Son" Superman?

This has intrigued me since I was a kid. I always assumed it was due to them wanting Batman to stand out. I just don't know lol. Andy, yes! That's my personal fave from all those too. And remember in the old days on another bulletin board, Mark Hamill touched on this subject. Coukd have false memories. Afterall, it was a long time ago, on an internet far far away lol.

Re: Red Batsuit?
The red matched Robin's color in the first poster. The red really catches your eye, but just looks really odd to me.

Re: Red Batsuit?
That's EXACTLY what I thought but wanted to see if anyone else felt that way.

Re: Red Batsuit?
It does kind of suggest Kane's Flash Gordon swipe.
I can only guess it's because red would catch the eyes of passers-by better than gray would have, or maybe because the printing process wouldn't have handled large fields of gray well? Or maybe bats are red in Italy?
On the "leaping" one (my favorite) there's even a photo of Adam in the correct colors, so it seems deliberate and willfull, rather than accidental.
Anyway, it has a nice Christmas-y feel, doesn't it?

No idea.....it's possible his bat suit was drawn red in color in Italy back then (The Phantom suit was gray , purple , red , or blue in different countries)
