He also wrote the famous Star Trek episode "City on the Edge of Forever" where Kirk and Spock go back in time and meet Edith Keeler (Joan Collins). He also wrote for the Flying Nun which has to be one of the goofiest premises for a TV show in all time and throughout the universe.

Big fan of his short stories and teleplays, my favorite is probably DEMON WITH A GLASS HAND, in which, coincidently the protagonist was originally named "Mr Fish"!

In the 90's there was a show hosted by Mike Jerrick that came on the long defunct cable channel USA Network that was sort of a cross between scfi and pop culture called Sci-Fi Buzz. The last few minutes of every episode was Harlan riffing on whatever was bugging him that week. Best three minutes of television - ever.
