I have never seen this Corgi. Seems to have come out during the mid-late 70’s and not very common now. Might have to track one down on eBay.

Nope. 1981-1982. Although only manufactured for a year, they weren't scarce. They were everywhere I went. The Batcopter was made from 1976-1982, both items ending in 82. Funny story: I wrote Corgi a letter in 1974 asking them to make a Batcopter. What at surprise when I saw this in the store. They listened, but my reaction was----what the heck is THAT?Blue Meanie wrote: ↑Mon Jul 30, 2018 5:23 pm I have never seen this Corgi. Re: What 1970s fan had
Ha-- yeah I had multiples of both of those so they were aplenty.

That was sort a generic Bat-Cycle-not really based on the second TV version. I recall thinking it was sort of "Bleh".Blue Meanie wrote: ↑Mon Jul 30, 2018 5:23 pm I have never seen this Corgi. 1967 Sears catalog:
Batman telephones by Ian McLean, on Flickr
Most “Batman” TV tie-in stuff from the 1960s and 70s were repurposed toys with an added “Batman” logo sticker or box art. My cousins had the same model of toy phones, but in sky blue, with no stickers.

"Holy nostalgia, Batman!"
