Alan Napier, who played Alfred in the 1966 Batman series, was born in Birmingham, England, UK on this day in 1903. He worked in acting well before the 1966 series debuted, and then kept working until 1981. Though he left us 25 years ago, he is fondly remembered.

And on this day in 1929, a certain Helen Luella Koford was born in Los Angeles, CA. She went on to become Terry Moore, who played the henchwoman Venus in three episodes in 1967. She is a pilot, and is also still working today. I met her in 2011 in New Jersey.
