Secondary Villains

Post by mattman »

OK. I will say it.
I liked season 3
The Shame episodes were decent but one of the best things about it was FRED.

So it got me thinking...
Could there have been an episode with lesser villains that appeared?
Eivol Ekdal was clearly THE villain in Zelda the Great.
Calamity Jan if Shame wasnt around?
Freddy the Fence?
Fred(obviously)
The Maharaja (if it wasn't the Joker lol)
The stunning Olga on her own?

But citizens....maybe not Cabala...

I agree on Season Three - love it! And yes, Fred was superb.

Anna Gram definitely had some spunk and didn't fall in love with Batman. She'd have made a great villain.

The only "secondary" villain from that season worth another story was Lady Prudence (Lyn Peters) from the otherwise abysmal Londinium episodes. She had the rare mix of being intelligent and appealing, and the only character with an edge in that story. Her dawning interest in Robin (and his reaction to her) was another reason she deserved a second trip to Bat-land.

I'm not a big fan of season three, but there were a few good episodes and I do like Batgirl. Well, I usually like her; she could be as dimwitted as a season three Batman at times.

I like the idea of promoting molls and assistants to full fledged criminals in their own stories. I'm not sure Lady Prudence could carry her own story, we saw so little of her character. What would be her gimmick and crime? Lord Phogg and Lady Peasoup were so underwhelming that they would need to do something to make Lady Prudence a villain worthy of her own Batman episode.

Some interesting points
Another one, maybe Bullpoint Baxter could be an "Extra Special Guest Villain" on one?

They would need to find a good writer to do his lines!

Pete the Swede was a parody of Jimmy the Greek.

Yep , thanks High C. I thought it might have been.

Just like the idea in 66World that Pete the Suede would still have a grocery type thing despite being turf accountant. An organic Condiment King type if you will.

I don't understand the vegetable connection. And it's Swede, not Suede. He didn't wear blue suede shoes! :D
