Real Names
Hi guys
I was thinking- only the Mad Hatter, King Tut, Dr.Cassandra and Mr.Freeze were given their alter ego/ real names on the show.
Have I missed any?
Was Lorelei Circe mentioned or was that somewhere else?( One for you High C)
What was Ma's first name?
And...obviously we know the ones given to the Big 4, but do we know other ones?
Louie..... ?
Olga...... ?
And what is Egghead's?

Re: Real Names
Black Widow's first name was never mentioned, but she called herself "Mrs. Max Black (widow)." And Sandman was of course Dr. Somnambula, but his first name was never given either.
Re: Real Names
Thanks Jim.
Considered the Black Widow and completely forgot about the Sandman.

Re: Real Names
Yes.
He gained a name after the TV series. In "Batman: The Brave and the Bold" issue #16, his real name is given as Edgar Heed. And what is Egghead's?
The "Batman '66" comic says that Mad Hatter (Jervis Tetch) and Clock King (named as Morris Tetch in issue #4) are brothers! In "Batman: The Animated Series", the Clock King is recreated as Temple Fugate (the name being a play on the Latin phrase "tempus fugit", meaning "time flies"). In TV's "Arrow", a different incarnation is William Tockman.
Freddie the Fence was also known as French Freddy Touche.
"Holy nostalgia, Batman!"

Re: Real Names
Siren's name of Lorelei Circe was given in both of her episodes. She needed a name, because how could Bruce sign over his assets to 'The Siren'?
'I thought Siren was perfect for Joan.'--Stanley Ralph Ross, writer of 'The Wail of the Siren'
My hobbies include gazing at the Siren and doing her bidding, evil or otherwise.
'She had a devastating, hypnotic effect on all the men.'--A schoolmate describing Joan Collins at age 17

Thanks High C
Somehow I thought you would know...
I always had an idea that when Louie the Lilac stands before the arresting officer after being caught he is asked his middle name and he says; "The"

Re: Real Names
The Green Hornet's true identity--Britt Reid--was named a few times during the crossover. Kato was mentioned as well, though the episode's writer (Charles Hoffman) mistakenly had Batman use it as if it was his name while in costume.

Re: Real Names
Surely, on that point about cheques, when the Penguin and Batman both ran for Mayor we should have heard their real names?
The same when Batman was going to marry Marsha( no surname for her then either)
Oh the out-there City of Gotham.
At least it is safer than Cabot Cove!

You never know in Gotham City. After all, Warden Crichton was providing blank checks to inmates to allegedly help them transition back to society.mattman wrote: ↑Thu Sep 20, 2018 12:41 am Surely, on that point about cheques, when the Penguin and Batman both ran for Mayor we should have heard their real names?

Re: Real Names
True.
And all 6 supervillains where in 6x6 cells together, mixed and just one switch opens up.
Oh...and Tut was in the clink!

Re: Real Names
Maybe Batman remembered the introduction GH made ("my aide, Kato") in the Spell of Tut widow cameo.BATWINGED HORNET wrote: ↑Wed Sep 19, 2018 12:07 pm The Green Hornet's true identity--Britt Reid--was named a few times during the crossover.
