Dick Tracy hat-tip to '66 Batman

Post by Jim Akin »

Seven or eight years ago, I started following the Dick Tracy daily comic for the first time since childhood after hearing of a plotline that revived an old Tracy villain, Broadway Bates, and gave him a new connection to a character from the bat-universe:

Tracy put Bates away after he committed a series of crimes, and the character hadn't been seen again until this week, when we learned he was up for parole. In today's strip, Tracy testifies at Bates's parole hearing, and I think board members will get a kick out of the proceedings.

Terrific find. Thanks for sharing.

This really makes me want to keep up with them like I used to.
