Original Color Model Cels Greenway Productions

found this on Heritage Auctions site and thought I would share.

Batman Color Model Cels and Drawings Group of 12 (Greenway Productions, 1966).

Little is known about this group of original hand-inked, hand-painted 12 field cels and matching animation drawings, but we believe these were done as color models for the proposed animated opening images and possibly as "bumper" cels to be used for commercial breaks. The first cel and drawing shows the familiar Bat-Signal over the skyline to Gotham City, and is almost identical to the one actually used on the show. The other five cels, done in a similar style, show bats flying against a full moon; the entrance to the Batcave; interior of the cave; the gate outside Wayne Manor, and Gotham City skyscrapers. The matching drawings are all noted as "cards" #1-6, which gives credence to this idea. The drawings are in graphite and red pencil.
