Introduction
Greetings Fellow Bat-Fans!
I wanted to take this opportunity and introduce myself on the Board.
I’m not reinventing the wheel by saying I’m here because Batman 1966 is Awesome! I’ve been a lifelong fan; ever since I saw the movie broadcast on one of the family stations back in the 90s. Adam West’s Batman was my first introduction to the character, he remains a definitive portrayal in my view, along with the incomparable Cesar Romero who is the “God-Joker” in the lineage of the character.
I remember reenacting the Bat-Ladder Shark scene in my backyard with a toy rope ladder hung out of the tree house, and playing with my Batman action figures (oh how I wish the series designs were available then) and doing it in the tradition of Batman ‘66 every detail from the bat phone to the fight scenes ... ah, youth.
I apologize for prattling down memory lane, but in any event I’m looking forward to being apart of this forum and connecting with fellow Bat-Fans. I’m in the process of starting a podcast appropriately titled: “14 Miles to Gotham City” and once it’s ready to move out I’ll be sure to spread the word and hope you’ll check it out.
That’s my spiel. Until, next time.
