Hard to believe it's already been four years since the passing of the great Adam West.
I know most here celebrate his life everyday!

I was able to write a couple hundred words about Adam for Bleeding Cool. Although it is brief it is very heartfelt and thought some of you fellow might enjoy it here.

It hard to think of him as gone when I can pop a DVD in and watch him in his prime.

It feels like ten years and also ten minutes, all at the same time. You're missed, Adam.

It's hard to explain. It is weird because Adam just was one of those people who you felt always had been around and always was going to be around. I obviously realize life doesn't work that way, but that's how it felt with Adam. And to literally wake up one day and find out that he was gone, it was tough. He is still missed.

June 9th is an extremely emotional date for me.

On the very day Adam died, June 9th, 2017, it was also my son's last day of high school.

But the anchor for me for this date is that 20 years ago yesterday, June 9th 2001, my Mother passed away, so when Adam died on the same exact date...it just seemed fitting somehow for me on a personal level. I was so crushed to hear he had passed, and crushed to hear he had been suffering with leukemia.

Although he will live on in the DVD series and on video, Adam's passing was indeed a very big hammer to the heart...

It’s hard to believe 4 years have passed already. I think Ben hit the nail on the head. It feels like forever, yet in some weird kind of way, it doesn’t.

The world seems to be somewhat "less" without him in it. Really wish he could have been with us a few more years. With Larry Storch still at 97, it seems that Mr. West left us all still early in the game. Also, It would have been nice if he could have voiced a few more Batman animated features.

God Bless Adam West
