Johnny Green Dies

Post by mastar »

My dear friend Johnny Green passed away today. He was 80. Johnny died in his sleep from complications of throat cancer (although he never smoked). Johnny Green and the Greenmen guest-starred on the Batman episode "Surf's Up! Joker' Under!" Johnny had just attended Adam West Day 2022 on Saturday. There is lots of video of the event on Johnny's Facebook. I was fortunate to write his biography and join him at many conventions with Adam West and cast.

RIP Johnny - you will be greatly missed.

Sorry to hear. My condolences to his family and friends. His band's performance on the season 3 surfing episode captures a moment in time we all wish we could go back to.

It was a pleasure meeting Johnny and spending some time with him this weekend. I'm beside myself that he passed that quickly!

Very sad to read this, I know a lot of us here have had great times with Johnny at various conventions and events over the years. He was always a lot of fun to be around. He'll be missed!

Sad news. Cancer is a terrible thing.

My prayers to his family and friends. Cool that he was signing autographs and getting his props just a few days ago.

I just noticed the "Chemo Sucks" ball cap in the photos from Walla Walla. I'm sorry to hear he's gone, but glad he's free from pain. R.I.P.

It is said "The Good die Young". Johnny, imho, was Young. Now He will be truly forever young.
