I was 3 days short of my 10th birthday. Oh God, I'm old!

So funny, my son and I are watching a Batman episode, even as I read this!

Can’t figure out which episode to celebrate with. I usually watch Hi Diddle Riddle. Thought I might go a different direction for a change. I may just watch the movie instead.

It was my Dad's 24th birthday, I was born 9 months later. Coincident?

I watched both parts tonight and was struck by how amazing the production values are. It's just top notch all the way through. Very funny, but also touching at the end. Here are a few observations...some things I don't recall from seeing it before:
1. "Pedestrian safety first" - was Robin really going to throw down the window grate?
2. I love the two henchmen who appear with a briefcase that is then opened and Riddler pulls out the lawsuit. What a crazy way to present the lawsuit.
3. Batman "flying" up to save Molly on the atomic pile is extremely well done.
4. The explosions when Batman enters the Riddler's hideout and when the Molehill gang blows a hole through the floor are shocking. Debris flying everywhere! I think I read they used real dynamite and it sure shows.
It's been awhile since I've watched the show, and this is a great excuse to start again. I'm going to try and stay with it every week.

I was not quite 5½ years old, and it was on a Zenith black and white portable TV - but I was immediately hooked.
However, it was many years before I figured out what Batman meant by "swinestope" (as in "The swinestope has affected your vocal cords!" ).
Oh.
"Swine's dope".
Never mind!
