Batman '66 photos, some odd
Rick Goldschmidt has a great site mostly about Rankin/Bass, but he often posts about other pop culture items...including our Batman.
This post has a few photos I have not seen before...Adam hanging from the Atomic Pile...with a little kid knocking him out...Burt holding his outfit...maybe others have seen them, but they are new to me.

Great finds Jim.
That Robin photo looks to be from the 70s-- and the kid bopping Batman is an interesting one. The emblem looks vintage to the show but the cowl is off. Looks more like the PSA cowl with the wrinkles and odd paint job. Love to get Chuck's thoughts on this cowl.

I'm learning about acting choices - for instance, Catwoman licking her lips - probably not in the script or directed, but that choice let's you know how good that "drink" is.
Some days you just can't get rid of a ... SHARK!

Very cool. Does any have any idea what the markings on the bat (door of the Batmobile)?

Those marks have been added by someone, they're not in other versions of that image. Maybe someone's weird watermark?Jimmy L. 66 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 15, 2023 1:25 pm Very cool. Does any have any idea what the markings on the bat (door of the Batmobile)?

Regarding the photo of the kid socking Adam, it's 1975
Re: Batman '66 photos, some odd
Speaking of unusual old Batman photos, I found this old studio photo of a prop department guy working on a giant cat statue that looked like it would have been perfect for Catwoman’s lair.

Most cat statues of this type are based on the Gayer Anderson Egyptian cat statue.

Yep, it's an original on it's last gasp before it comes off the shell.

I wonder if this ended up being the Gilla cowl.
