Two real-life Bat-Gas stories

Did a search on the Newspapers site, and besides a ton of TV listings, these two stories turned up - one heartwarming, the other "huh?":

Was this an actual letter from Adam? Nice gesture to a Bat-fan! Gail was still around in 2019 at least.

The other story: From novelty Bat-Gas to men's cologne...

Neat, obscure finds and interesting reading. Been taking lessons from a certain “world’s greatest detective”?

You bet! Admittedly, my desktop probably has a bit more power than the 1966 Bat-Computer (although it hasn't produced any spaghetti during my searches).
