66 Batman to air on IFC

Post by TysonL »

Starting tomorrow at 5a.m. central time, Independent Film Channel will start an all day marathon of the first season. Looks like after that they will play several shows a day until July 10th.

I plan to tune in. I'm hoping they'll be playing the newly restored versions of the episodes.
We thought we'd have to teach our son about the world. Turns out we have to teach the world about our son. They see a boy who cannot speak. We see a miracle who doesn't need words.

No remastered prints. Oh well.

It has been fun watching these today. Really looking forward to November for the release.

This is nothing new I'm sure, but I was watching episode 10 yesterday and in the "trick shop" there sat the gold cat prop that would later be sprayed with radiation to track Catwoman. First time I'd ever noticed it. Probably dozens of examples like this.

Agreed, Chet. Even though IFC didn't use the new restored prints, it was fun to watch hour after hour of the show. I told my wife, "You know this is how it's going to be after I get my blu ray set." She rolled her eyes. Ha!

Penguin probably used sleeping gas more often than any other villain.
