1966 Batman Night at the Toledo Walleye Hockey Game 11/22
This Saturday, my hometown Toledo Walleye Hockey team is celebrating Heroes Night. The home team will be wearing special 66 Batman Jerseys, while the visitors will be attired in special Riddler jerseys. They are then going to auction off the jerseys after the game. Also, they are auctioning a jersey signed by Adam West. All to benefit local charities. I'm planning on going to the game so I will take some pictures and post this weekend.

Yes. It will be broadcast on a local Toledo cable sports outlet (BCSN). Not sure whether you can get it streaming online.

I have attached some photos from last night's game to give an idea of what the jerseys looked like in action.
It was a fun night...
There were a ton of fights in the game and when one got going they played the bat-fight music and flashed POW! WHAM!, ZOWIE! etc. on the video board. It was pretty funny actually.... two hockey players beating the tar out of each other while bat-fight music is going.
In between periods they had a couple contests. One was to name as many superheroes as you can in 10 seconds (going up against a Walleye hockey player). The second was a costume contest. Both winners took home a copy of the complete season 1 of '66 Batman.
Post game, they auctioned off the game-worn jerseys. They went for ridiculous money. Several of the Batman jerseys went for over $1,000 with the highest selling for $3,000. The Riddler Jerseys weren't quite as expensive, but they were consistently ending at $600 - $700.

I'm not a sports/hockey fan, but heck I would have happily watched this!

My sincere thanks to Millionaire Playboy. When I saw this post regarding the Batman/Riddler jerseys I was fascinated by the chance to own them. My home team is the Evansville Icemen and they were the opposing team for Batman night. I contacted Ron and he tried to win a couple of the jerseys for me. Thanks for trying. Hope I can repay the kind gesture.

SUPER fun, I bet it was a hoot and a half! Thanks for sharing the photos.
I find you to be odious, abhorrent and insegrevious.

Millionaire Playboy, I couldn't resist some adding some bat onomatopoeia.
