I saw this post so I made a quick detour on my way to the NHRA race in Bowling Green. The Batman suit is really in very poor condition. Not sure what I expected, other than I have been used to seeing guys at the Comic-cons in there new, minty, perfectly beautiful suits. I was just not ready to see this one in such condition. If I was being totally honest, I probably have not aged any more gracefully over the past 49 years. Still.... very cool to see this and many of the other displays. The Topps card display that included the Bat suit was free to the public. Now I can say that I have seen it and I took the opportunity to do the baseball bat manufacturing tour as well. Two bats for the price of one. Thanks to Antman67 for the original post.

I've seen Wally explain about how parts of the original suits turned a berry color because the material didn't hold the color well, but it's still cool that you got to see an original costume. And fun comment about "two bats for the price of one" <g>
