If everything works out, we should have a Batboat replica for Saturday...

Re: Fiberglass Freaks 15 Year Anniversary Mini-Con
Mark and his team put on a really fun show that was well attended. My wife and I had a great time getting to know some of the guys on the msg board. Dinner with Chris, Troy, Alex, Eugene and Wilson was a bat blast.
Will try to post pics.

I got there at 10 when it opened and got to briefly say hi to Mark as he was pretty busy. I was about to go to the first panel, but got a call that my wife had broken her ankle and was at the hospital. Unfortunately, I had to leave after about only an hour for a 4 hour drive back home. Would have loved to be there for the rest of the day and meet some other board members, have dinner and see the movie. I did get to see the Batcopter at the very least and talked to Jim Beard for a short time. Hope the balance of the show was a great success.
Kudos to Mark on his 15th anniversary. Hope to be able to stay longer for the 20th.

We had 475 attendees between the two days--what a great time! It was all due to the incredible people that put it together:

Very nice, the villians look amazing!
Are those all reproduction costumes, and who made them?
Sorry I couldn't be there, looks like a blast.

This looked like an awesome time! So great to see so many familiar faces! I know I would have loved to have made if it had worked schedule-wise.

Next time, Ben! In the meantime, check out these hooligans!
It was crazy fun. Including vendors, staff, and volunteers, we had over 500 people attend. We were blessed with fantastic weather, too!

Not pictured are Buddy, Puff, Kathy, and Bobbi, who weren't able to attend Sunday. I'll post their pics when I get a chance. I'm hosting a city movers and shakers tour in about an hour, and I'm still putting the shop back together from the convention!
Everyone seemed pleased with the airport as a venue, and most people are encouraging me to do it again next year. It's the 80th anniversary of the Batman character, and the 30th anniversary of the first Keaton movie, so it seems like it's begging me to do it. How many people that didn't come this time would be interested if we did it again next year? And how important is the Batcopter in making that decision?
