Fairfax Comic Con and first outing

Post by floatinjoe »

Today, my son and I made our first outing in our Batman suits. Though we've both had them for a few years, and worn them several times, we've never actually worn them together. We went to the Fairfax Comic Con today, and were quite a hit. This was the first weekend the event had been held.

Most of my costume are Williams Studio 2 pieces. Chuck and Lynne were extremely helpful in guiding me through the process of building Jack's costume. Thank you for all the help.

Jack's head has started to outgrow the cowl, so there may be another one in the future. I'll have to come up with a better way of making a shell though.

Here are a couple shots from the day.

Thanks. The spread cape is his favorite pose to do. I think it comes from “The Adventures of Little Batman”. Definitely one of his favorite movies.

He wanted to go as Bat-mite, but we were able to convince him that we didn’t have the right symbol or boots...
