SDCC 2019 Things I have seen so far

Post by Jimmy L. 66 »

I saw these at SDCC and thought I might share.
Although I believe we've discussed the figures here, I have not seen these live in the wild anywhere before, and was unaware of the batmobile and figures.
Anyway enjoy.

Hope you have a great time at the Con, Jimmy! Sad to not be joining you this year, but looking forward to your coverage!

Which booth were these new toys at?

Those 4” figures look amazing and so much better than Funko. Can you get more info on them? Are Batman and Robin Exclusive to the Batmobile? Is Riddler being made?

Mezco line.
They've been working on this for a year-- they really nailed the figures especially Batman, which was the weakest one in the Funko line.
These will make you forget the Funko fiasco, but for those of you hoping they'll go deep I think you'll be disappointed. They are not known for expanding a line-- they consider Joker Penguin and Catwoman "deep" in the line.

There's some nice close-ups at the Toy News International site. Check out images 70-76 in this slideshow:

I was holding in my fanboy shrieks until I got to the next image after these: a Fleischer Superman and Mechanical Monster!! There goes all my money...

I'm super excited about the Fleischer Superman! I never thought figures would be made for the shorts!

FYI = At San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Quantum Mechanix revealed a few new 1/6 Scale Figures. which includes a Lynda Carter Wonder Woman.

Oh my gosh, the Wonder Woman...I’m speechless, as a longtime fan of the show, I’m so glad merchandise is finally being made! Anyone know the release date?

I would like to see other angles of the WW figure's face, because this does not really look like Carter that much.

True. Not sure how they could get that wrong.

Not a whole lot of 66 merch this year. I did meet the artist Shag and him sign this.
