I don't know, but as I don't have the previous version I will be looking for this release.

Hey y'all, can any of you fine gentleman explain the difference between a Husky and a Corgi batmobile. I was just gifted a Husky, I am aware they are a division of Corgi, but why separate names? Any info would be great.

That’s a great question

http://www.batmobile.free.fr/English/In ... mobile.htm
Husky typically had plain gray wheels, as opposed to the rims and tires Corgi had.
Husky had the Batman figure on the bottom on the Husky, but a different design.

They had the pulsating flame, and later the batboat and towhook.
There’s more on that web site above.

That website is the go-to site for all things diecast Husky and Corgi Batmobiles.

Husky became Corgi Junior around 1970. As stated the Husky's had gray wheels and chrome rocket tubes. There was a transition period when it became Corgi Juniors with a paper label on the bottom and some other transitional models (whizzwheels with chrome rocket tubes). Then came the whizzwheels and orange rocket tube version that we normally know as the "Corgi Junior" Batmobile with several variations.

Variations in the line before the orange rocket tubes....

Wow love that RLC car- especially the card art. Unfortunately sold out on the website so scalper land is the only source right now.

Found a 2022 HW Classic TV Series Batmobile to add to the growing collection. It's your basic black with blue tinted canopy with some slightly different red stripes.

Also found the "cartoon" or scrunched version. Both at the local Walmart.
