I honestly thought my source of info was on the money.

At least we haven't heard that she DOESN'T want to license out her likeness, negotiations are still ongoing.
I read that statement on the Mego Museum as well, and since it came from CTVT itself I too thought that there was a deal with Yvonne, so don't feel bad about the misinformation, I was fooled too

Just out of curiosity, if these guys are doing 12 inch figures, I'm assuming that does NOT preclude Hot Toys from doing them too, right? Or does it?

No it doesn't.

However, knowing how much Hot Toys figures can cost, I will only be getting the 8" versions.

At the price they've set, it's a lot easier on the pocketbook than Hot Toys.

I'm not sure what exactly Hot Toys is waiting for. A lot of Hot Toys collectors are very frustrated right now, because all Hot Toys seems to focusing on is Iron Man. They've had the Star Wars license for more than a year now, and only one Luke figure has been released. I really want to see what they will be offering.

So, it sure seems like they have a lot of figures planned for the '66 series and the retro series, which is good. But if I read the press release correctly (and if it is written correctly) it seems that ALL of the '66 line will be in 8 and 12 inch varieties? Can that be right? That seems like a lot of duplication, and they can't possibly expect to sell equal numbers of 8 and 12 inch representations of the same character. Can they?

They can and will to me, so I say bring 'em on!!!!! Hell, I say make some 1/4 scale figures, too!

It's nice to see these figures coming out, period. I think we're lucky to get what we're getting thus far.

Sorry.
I can't make this any plainer. Sorry. Any further discussion about deals or opinions of what Yvonne should or should not do will be deleted.

I wonder which Catwoman we're going to get.

Will it be Julie, Lee, or Eartha?

I must admit that I'm more partial to Eartha than I am to Julie, but that's just me.

As long as the head isn't supersized to the point where it falls off the neck post (I've had that happen!), the boots aren't fragile as all heck, and the limbs don't shatter from being breathed on, I will be a very happy customer.

It would be nice to get all three Catwomen.

Sure it would, but in what order?

I guess that Julie would come first, then Lee, then Eartha.

Assuming that the line gets that far, that is.

I just saw the gloves and boots that they are producing for the 66 Robin figure!

They're great!

Uh....sorry about the lack of picks, but I don't know how to post a link.

Just go to the website and click on their facebook link. The gloves, boots and belt are so accurate they are scary!
