The figure sculpt is perfect, but I kind of hope they flare the cape out in the final version so he looks like he's jumping, and not hanging. Either way, there's no way this isn't ending up on my tree.

That is not the original Hallmark ornament. I heard that Adam West didn't like the original design. Personally... unless your familial with the LIFE cover, most folks will find the pose kinda weird. Bad choice of pose, me thinks.

I liked this, but I had my heart set on the original ornament they were showing.

I liked the other pose better. The Life magazine pose was always upsetting to me as it looked like they were making fun of Batman and Adam himself. The series was not THAT silly. Poor choice Hallmark and Adam (if indeed he had anything to do with it.)

Yuck. The figure looks fat. And, I agree, it is weird out of context - if you don't know that LIFE cover, it doesn't really make sense. It is a very odd pose.

With all the exciting new merch out, this is a disappointment.

What was the original pose?

I never collected these Hallmark ornaments. I mean, how do you display them?

I think he was holding a bat-arang in his hand like he was going to throw it. I'll buy it but I too am disappointed in the new pose.

Put them on a hook and dangle them from a Christmas tree. :-)

Some ornaments will stand up on their own. For this one, you might want to look for an ornament stand. They go for a couple of bucks, usually.

They never released a prototype of the figure, just this "spacefiller." a photo I suppose. I for one, am a HUGE fan of the 66 Batarang and ANY figure or whatever that has it is tops in my book.
