Next to the Larger one IS the Newest 1:12 Batmobile from Mattel. This is the HARD TO FIND car !
The 1:12 Batcycle that came out a few years ago, Is also the same scale as the NEW Mattel 2012-13 Batmobile , They go together very nice.
The First car,
It was produced by James Desimone , He is a Gi Joe Collector , and a Gi Joe Convention Promoter and Author. He sells these somtimes on eBay as the ' JOE-MOBILE'.
I have seen them 'Buit Up' on eBay , with asking prices in the 4 Didgit numbers !!!
(You can purchase them much cheaper).
I dont know if this is stiil a good active web address , but look here for the Joe-Mobile.
http://www.gijoeinformation.com , Go to the GIjoe Supply Depot link box.
I am not sure if he still has these available, or if they are still for sale anywhere.
I bought my 1:6 Batmobile over 10 years ago.
The 1:6 Joe Mobile is large enough to fit Two 12" Figure into it (See My Photo) , but its actual dimentions are not accurate to the real car , but.... it is a fun car to own. and if you modeling skills are decent, it is easy to change from its Basic kit form into a decent looking Batmobile , even though not totaly correct.
Do a search here on the board , I do beleive I have in the past seen other threads on this 1:6 Batmobile.
There's a 1/10 or 1/9 custom on eBay
The Mego 1/8 scale
The Aurora/Polar Lights 1/32
The 1/55 Mattel Batmobile
Beautiful job detailing the Joemobile. One of these days I'll get around to building and detailing mine.
I have all of the others, except I sold my unfinished joemobile a few years back...I just did not have space for it.
It was made by Hotwheels and it is REALLY TINY. it comes in a nice SMALL box with a Clear Display Cube. They were nearly impossable to find on the shelf , and are still a bit rare , and VERY expensive when you can find one.
