Just got this-- very happy with it. Found it for a lot less than the going rate.

I recently found the Adam West Batman SCALERS figure at a local (MN) Toys 'R' Us!
Scott found one out in California, too!

While I collect the FTC figures, my Daughter collects the Mattel figures so I picked up the Surf's Up Joker for her for Christmas. I hope Batgirl comes out soon because that's the one that she really wants
As shown at SDCC, Batgirl will be released as part of a new 3-pack with Batman & Robin.
MSRP is $49.99...

Where are you located and where did you find that Surf's Up Joker figure at?!...Walmart?
(I'll take one if you find another one!) ;)

Well, I'm not crazy about the idea because my Daughter already has a Batman & a Robin but I suppose that I'll have to buy them again  So that she can have Batgirl.
I just wish they'd release them already.

vintage 1966 Batman lunchbox found at flea market

Nice find on that lunchbox!! My dad scored one at a church rummage sale about 10 years ago... still with the thermos!!

Hey Jeremy,

From what I've seen on eBay a lot of the 1960's tv show thermos are more scarce and valubale than the lunchbox. Have bid on a couple on eBay without any luck, will eventually pick one up.
Thanks

Jim,

You're absolutely right! My dad got really lucky on that Batman lunchbox/thermos. It took him foooorever to find a thermos for his Munsters lunchbox.

Have you seen the "small" 60's repro Batman lunchbox/thermos Hallmark put out some years ago?

Hey Jeremy,

Yes, I've seen the repro Batman lunchbox/thermos from Hallmark. They look pretty sharp.

Thanks
Jim

That's a great pickup. Those early issues are tough to come by and are often pricied into the stratosphere. I've thought about picking up a Golden Age Batman and framing it for my office.

Hey John,

Regarding the Surfs Up Joker... does it matter what the condition of the packaging is? Not sure where you're located, but the Walmart by my house (Orange County, CA.) had about 4 Jokers. But the packaging on all 4 were really bad. I tried talking to a manager to get a discount, but had no luck. Would you still be interested in one of these at retail price?

Finally picked up a 1966 thermos to go with my lunchbox. Missing outer cup but has excellent gloss. Also, picked up a DVD of the 2 1940's "Batman" serials. Has anyone ever watched these? Thanks Jim

Just found this 1,000 piece puzzle tonight at Hot Topic! Would love to see more puzzles in the future with better graphics/images. But I was really surprised and excited to stumble on this. I hadn't heard that it would be coming out.

I own both serials and found entertaining. It is not campy but it is definitely lighthearted in nature; Batman and Robin have a lot of fun being heroes.
