I got my greasy Bat-mits on a Macfarlane Adam and Burt in a central California Target yesterday. No sign of the cave, car or Cesar at that specific store. The search continues! I also saw someone on Instagram had a Frank figure in hand now too.

I've had a pretty successful couple of trips to Target in the last few days. The day after I snagged my Adam and Burt, I managed to bag a Cesar in the next town over.

Despite scoping out the availability of the Batcave online at multiple Target locations and being told there was nothing available until Oct 29th, prior to having dinner when I got into town last night, Scott and I found a lonesome Batcave in the first Target he had wandered in to in months... beginners luck, eh?!

The Mattell Batmobile is a great fit for these figures as others have mentioned.

Just found at Target!
(Rt. 9 Howell, NJ…….2 left after mine)
The McFarlane
Batman Classic TV Series
Batcave Playset
(I still need to find Batman!)

Here it is opened and laid out with the McFarlane 66 Batmobile and Robin....

But personally, I think it’s better suited to 3 3/4” scale figures like the Funko ReAction Batman 66 figures from a few years ago...

Of course, there are other options us kids who discovered Batman in the 70s might be inclined to go with MEGO Pocket Heroes…

(I still need a Batmobile for them.)

80s kids might prefer Super Powers…

And even 90s kids might even find a use for it with their Dark Knight Collection/Batman Returns figures

Finally found the McFarlane Classic TV Series Batman (Target, Rt.9 Manalapan)

Sadly, Batman , Much like Robin, seems a bit “Phoned-in” his cape is much too short (making him look like an adult wearing a Kid’s Halloween costume cape.)

The construction is solid enough and the articulation is fine but the color of the cowl boots and gloves are far too bright blue compared to the darker violet that Mattel, NECA and other companies have used

Just got the 1966 Batmobile in 1/12 scale - again. Working on a more accurate setup for the cave. Have a grandchild on the way, we need to break them in properly.

Mattel that is, millionaires, playboys.... :D

Dear friend from South America sent me this for Xmas, it was the only Funko Batmobile variant I didn't have-- now I have them all racing around my art studio. As a huge fan of the tin toys Batmobile from Asia in the 70s I really dug Funko's attempt at replicating the wackiness of the variable colors. The orange Batman is pretty funky too.

A neighbor kid who is about ten stopped by the other day and came up to see what I was working on, I think he really does it because I seriously do have Batmobiles all over my studio (as well as a Speed Racer Mach 5 - big one with Speed and Racer X figures). When he leaves it's interesting to see who he's put in all the driver seats, from a box of Reaction figures I also have up there. This time around Dr Zaius is being driven by Batula in the Gold Car, A green Batman is driving Ming the Merciless in the Blue Car, the Red Car is being driven by Lobster Johnson with Hellboy as his passenger, the Silver is being driven by Spider-Man with the Orange Batman as a passenger and the Black Batmobile is being driven by a horde of colorful alien finger puppets who look like they're having the time of their lives. I should note that he always puts them back neatly on the shelves they are displayed on with all his driver choices.

Going to need some grandkids soon!

Crazy '66 Christmas here- finally got the maskless McF Robin, and the new HW RLC Batmobile. But the capper was receiving the Sideshow 1/4 scale Batman and Catwoman, both NOS. Passed on them when they were released, regretted it, and now here they are original shipping containers and all. Now the hunt begins to find appropriate display cases... and the room to display them!
