Yes, 65. Not only a Batman, but a JOKER too! (they were released a few months back). I believe the Batman and Joker are already sold out, though I could be wrong.

They each say about 15 things. Pretty neat! Aside from the Figures Inc collection, this is my favorite 1966 Batman item to come out of late.

you will NOT Be disappointed!

Scott Sebring suggested I extricate the voice chip from the figures and install them in my lifesize Batman and Robin figures. Since the talking dolls can't be activated through the glass of my display case, perhaps that WOULD be a better use for them! Lifesize Batman and Robin figures that each say 15 phrases directly from the show WOULD be awesome!

Are the audio samples from the show soundtracks?

Wally - If you do this, please let me know how it worked out. I may have to do the same with my Batman and Robin mannequins. This was a great suggestion

How good is the sound quality of those? Do you think you'd need to have them amplified louder for the life-size?

I extricated the talkbox from the 18" Beetlejuice figure that NECA put out and installed it in my lifesize Beetlejuice mannequin. Once you attach a larger speaker to the box, it really is quite loud! The thing that diminishes the quality of these talkboxes is the tiny, tinny speaker they have to include in the box for size. But the quality of the chip itself is amazing.

But if you wire up an external speaker it's really loud and robust! My effects guy is coming over tonight to examine the talkboxes to see how to hook up an external speaker and rig a hidden trigger button on the manneqins or the surrounding display.

The voice quotes ARE lifted directly from the TV series...they are as follows...

BATMAN
Better let us handle this, it smells like a trap
There's no time to lose!
Our first aim is to thwart his criminal plans
No time to explain, just do as I say. Listen...
Robin, we've come a long way from the Prime Minister's exploding cake. Or have we?
Great heavens! I'd better try to contact Robin instantly on the utility belt wavelength.
To the Batmobile!
It's a trait of the criminal mind the urge to boast. It often leads to the criminal giving himself away.
I understand that Mr. Bruce Wayne is a man of great understanding and compassion
This unique garb of ours is one of our weapons in crimefighting. It shouldn't bother anyone who abides by the law
We must have details on the complete plot. How? Where? When?
It's time for a little trickery of our own Robin!
To the Batpoles
Since Robin is currently out of commission I'd appreciate it if you'd accompany me in the Batmobile
Let's ponder the crook's motive
------------------------------------------
ROBIN
Don't worry, Batman will figure it out. Won't you Batman?
Holy popcorn!
We track them on the Bat Scanner to their criminal hideout
Right! I should have thought of that myself!
Aw gee, it was nothing Batman
We'll use our Anti-Crime computer in the Batcave
Holy Bill of Rights!
Holy Barracuda!
Well, what are we waiting for?
I'll meet you in the Batcave!
We're here to foil a daring crime!
Batman's right
So that's your dirty game
Behind our masks, we're perfectly ordinary people
Holy Las Vegas, Holy jackpot!
Holy semantics Batman. You never cease to amaze me!
We found out about your secret radio transmitter
Ok Batman, let's deliver the punchline
Alright it just burns me up. The filthy greed of some people.
Holy floodgate!
Holy Chutzpah

Wally,

Found this as a possible idea for you: http://www.electronics123.com/kits-and- ... odule.html

I've also seen some tips around the web for modifying wireless doorbells for custom sounds which would give you a remote start feature.

I had another idea for your full-size B&R. You could, with some ease, create interactive dialogue from the show between the two mannequins. With a little audio editing, you could put Batman’s dialogue on the left channel of a stereo file and Robin’s on the right channel and then rig corresponding speakers to each!
