Just left the store with the 3 pack and Batcave in hand ! They had a batmobile with figures also. They only had 3 of each type on the shelves so the shipment was rather light.

Not too many TRU's left in my area, that's why I decided to do the online order.

No I already bought the first round batmobile so could not see spending cash for it. It was fun to see in person. One of the workers said they just put these sets out today so good luck hunting everyone.

I drove out to my TRU this morning when they opened and they had 2 Batmobiles and 2 3-packs. $58 for the 3-pack in person vs. $50 online w/ free ship. Not enough to make me drive back and return it. Not to mention one BIG reason.

Bad Paint Apps

Of the 2 that were there, both Batman and Robin figs looked fine but one of the Batgirls had 2 missing paint/chipped paint spots on her cheek and chin. The face paint figure also had some glue residue below her cowl fringe. Thankfully the other one was perfect. So remember to double check the ones you get.

Also, leave it to Mattel to end their stuff handling of this line in suitable fashion.

There is so little glitter in her paint that she might as well just be straight up matte dark purple.

I'm really glad this line ended quickly and my love/hate collecting of it is over. Insanely happy I finally got to add 1966 Batman figures to my collection, but will forever be bummed that Mattel got the license. lol

Boy what a difference from the original paint scheme to what we are actually getting. I'm sure there's a lot of "behind the scenes" cost factors that didn't allow for the more glittery paint scheme.

I have such a love/hate relationship with this line. LOL!!

I did a little doctoring with the packaging and swapped the heads around. I think it looks better that way.
