NEW BATMAN 66 MEETS??? COMIC

Just saw an issue of PREVIEWS mag...for comic books,,etc,,they are releasing a new BATMAN 66 COMIC mini series..Its called...BATMAN MEETS STEED & PEEL ! ..i guess they couldn't use the word THE AVENGERS for reasons that are very obvious....looks pretty cool..

I like that they're continuing these as limited series. I'm still hoping for one that really nails the tone of the better parts of the series. I'm also a huge fan of Steed and Emma, but they've had a hard time making it in comics too.

If they can't use the Avengers name, at least I hope they can use the likenesses of Macnee and Rigg.

Wonder if we'll see a Roger Moore Saint next? Of course, if it goes on long enough I'll be looking forward to guest appearances from Captain Nice, Herman Munster and My Mother the Car... or even Gomez Addams meets his evil twin, the Riddler...

Despite the Wild Wild West being set in the late 1860s and our show being set a century later, I could see either West and Gordon or the Dynamic Duo travelling in time. If Batman and Robin went back in time, having the heroes up against Count Manzepi (sp?) would be outstanding. Using Dr. Loveless would be too obvious.

I also like the idea of Batman meeting the Saint. The story would need to involve a similar dynamic to Batman and Green Hornet since law enforcement the around the world considers the Saint a criminal. Now, if the villains were Dr. Rayt Marius and the Crown Prince Rudolph, featured in 'The Last Hero', 'The Avenging Saint', 'Getaway', and 'The Simon Templar Foundation' the story could be great.

Come to think of it, the Saint might work better in an otherwise solo Batgirl story.
