I'd suggest waiting for a more well known site to post them up for pre-order. The odds of Entertainment Earth or Big Bad Toy Store being beaten to the punch by AnimePoko (??) is pretty slim.

I'm betting they just took promotional images and posted them up with a general Funko figure price and a ship date at the end of the year so they don't risk customer service issues. Then they'll adjust later when it's all official, hoping to snag pre-orders ASAP.

I haven't heard squat but definitely follow 13th Dimension as they seem to have the inside access to Funko and the line's designers/sculptors. I'd also personally suggest following BigBadToyStore.com. A great place to pre-order them or just find out when they finally pop up.

Rumors say the 1st wave will hit in June or July.

Pros - These are AWESOME and only $10 each.

Minor Cons:
1) They really mailed it in on those cardbacks. Ugh. Mattel did better.
2) No mask for Catwoman? Boooo

Major Cons:
1) Unannounced plans for Pilot Batman will likely equal "Pay scalpers through the nose for the SDCC exclusive"
2) "Limited Chase Edition" on one of the Mr. Freezes.

As a collector there's nothing I hate more than cool, hard to get items. What's the point of Freeze? Just pack them in equal numbers! If that Pilot Batman is going to be a con exclusive, that sucks too. Like no one's going to your booth or the con if there are no exclusive toys to buy.

All this turns into is a pay day for scalpers and no benefit for the company or collectors. Bah Humbug.

Anxious to know what retail stores will carry these. TRU? Wal-Mart?

I'm not sure which retailers will have them, I've not been in a toy store in sometime. I just ordered a set from EE and an extra Batman and a Batmobile set from BBTS. I'm OK with the generic packaging, makes opening them a no-brainer. If they had great cards I'd want a set on the cards too.

As for the Eli figure being a chase figure-- I don't like that either, but I'm glad Otto is the easy to get version. I'll have to track down a pilot figure though-- I already have agents set for San Diego, but Funko is the hardest booth to buy from since they have wacky limit policies.

Someone over on the Funko forum just got the Batmobile with Batman and Robin so these should be released really soon. I also noticed an auction from California with someone saying that it was ready to ship so I hope my preorder is released very soon.

Yup they are in comic shops today.
Quite a few eBay sellers showing them IN STOCK too.
If I weren't tied up today I'd swing by my LCS and see if they have it.
