MORE from the Bradford Exchange! You aren't gonna believe it!

Post by John Mack »

So, poking around the web and saw something from the Bradford Exchange. I didn't pay too much attention thinking it was those figures, either the light up ones or the cloth suit Batman. There are no details as to size or anything else in the item's descriptions. I clicked on it, and look what they're offering now:

Adventures of Batman and Robin figurine collection. Batmobile states it has lights and music. I love the Catwoman trap with the spikes. These appear to be drawings, not the actual items?

Wow, some really cool items here. I like the Catwoman trap too-- but what's with stealing other people's sculpts?

I guess you and I both spotted the Tweeterhead-Catwoman appearance in there. I'm hoping that given these are artists renderings at this point that the market version will not be so obviously "inspired".

Good spotting Andy. This seems to be a reoccurring theme with this company. I'm not a fan of pilfered artwork. Who knows? Maybe one day a print of yours will appear in their gallery and your attorney(ies) can ask them in person  :geek: :geek:

Even Franklin Mint or Danbury Mint (I forget which one) had a picture of a real Batmobile replica in their initial advertising before they pulled it. It does mis-represent the product.

I do like the batclimb and the Batmobile image with the two jumping in - but boy is that small.

And I wonder where they got the idea for the jumping into the Batmobile? Imai Batmobile model kit from the 70's or 80's perhaps?

Don't know Dell. As I wrote in my original post, I didn't see any details. Szabol stated, the Batmobile is quite small, but that seems to be the only dimensions listed for the new items.

Can someone post pics? The Canadian site doesn't have them, and won't let me change over to the US site!

Here are some pics from their site. Mostly just artist concepts for now, but they look like they could be cool. The site is not letting me order any of them at the moment. When I click "Add to Cart", I get a message that the Item # can't be found. Not sure why they have them posted if they are not ready to take orders yet. If this persists for much longer, I'll call to see if I can order them by phone.

Not sure about the figures on bases, but the Batmobile sculpture I ordered last week and has a delivery in the next 8 weeks, so that does appear to be purchased.
