Hey, folks:

As promised, here’s your first look at the new busts — straight from the Toy Fair floor:

I have all the busts so far but I'm considering passing on these. They aren't that impressive detail-wise except for the phone and Shakespeare bust but I wouldn't buy those alone. I'm disappointed that if Diamond was going to extend the line they didn't issue False Face, Shame, the other Mister Freezes or John Astin's Riddler. Always going the Bruce and Dick route before continuing the variety of villains line seems the go-to for so many companies. So unimaginative.

By the way, Dan, check your 13th Dimen page security as everytime I access it my computer security warns me of an attempted hack intrusion. Fortunately it's never successful due to my security.

Same here with virus alert being quarantined; coinhive
I think I will also pass even though I have all others in my collection..
Shakespeare Bust looks good and maybe Alfred, but just a phone on a pedestal?
To me the hands look a little over rough and for lack of better words, a little too Claymation appearance.
Starting to seem to me for awhile now, after the first wave of 66 merchandise a few years ago whatever is starting to come around again just looks too forced out to market without regard to QC and likeness.
I think the ship has sailed

So have these guys just not seen the show or are they legally enjoined from using actual likenesses?

Just sayin'...

Ha! Hard to get the likenesses with the masks, worse without.
Easy pass for me.

I agree, a pass for me as well, but I would like to thank Dan for all the hard work he does for 66 fans. Dan, you're always on top of things, I don't know how you do it, and your interviews are wonderfully done. You ask the questions we all want answered. But, those busts aren't even close to being close, ya know?

Pass. Those sculpts could be just about anyone on earth...except West, Ward and Napier.

I've said it before, and will do so again: toy companies working on subjects no longer available (due to the character likeness being decades old, actors age or pass on, etc.) they should hire professional sculptors trained in realism (from models, and long gone subjects). Just take a look at the MLK memorial in Washington D.C.--a near perfect version of a man who had been gone (at the time the memorial was completed) for 42 years.

It can be done, and imagine if companies actually created perfect likeness sculpts? I would almost guarantee a product that sells out quickly.

Does anyone have any leads to a Bookworm bust?
I dont understand why no one seems to have him, there is no way they have sold through 3000 of them.. What has been the issue with this bust?! anyone know?
