Kind of neat how it's set up like the old Mego Batcave playset.

BBTS shows it in stock now, so anyone who's ordered from them should be getting it ASAP.

So, Batman and Robin can fit in the car? With their capes? A nice change of pace from Funko and McFarlane.

I'm really trying to figure out what I don't like about the Batman figure. I still can't put my finger on it other than the cowl eyes are way too big. Maybe it's the color? Maybe I'm being incredibly picky- let's take a look;
REVOLTECH.jpg
Left: Revoltech Batman figure from the model kit-- IMO the best AW Batman figure in a small scale (I think this is about a 2" figure).
Middle: The Mezco 5 Point Batman
Right: The Funko Batman from a few years ago.

The Revoltech figure really captures the look for me, he's also got more of Adam's build, whereas the other two are thin (Mezco) and doughy (Funko). Color scheme is more accurate on the RT, maybe it's the light gray that bothers me so much, I really don't know for sure what my problem is (and I have many that I'm aware of). I DO like that the 5 point figure looks like you could actually play with it but since my kids are grown and no grandkids in sight that's an out for me.

Anyway, I'm glad this set got made, I'm equally happy those of you who ordered one finally got it but I just can't figure out what bothers me so much about it.

And here I'm trying to answer my own question- I think the color scheme is a lot of the problem with both Mezco and Funko

A quick photoshop enhancement to a darker hue and I like it better. I don't think that's the only problem, but it's one.

I've seen a couple of pictures pop up on social media. Mine shipped and arrives on Saturday.

I hear it's huge. Wish it wasn't so I could easily sell the playset portion instead of dumping it into my storage space.

Mine says will arrive Saturday through Fed Ex. I didn't know Fed Ex had Saturday delivery. Nonetheless, this finally puts the Batman 66 1:18 scale to bed. The journey that started with Funko so long ago has now ended with Mezco's line.

FedEx and UPS both do Saturday deliveries now.
I was surprised to discover this myself a couple of years ago.
A friend just texted me tiny pictures of his set-- the box alone is huge.
