Eaglemoss Batman Decades Figures

Post by AndyFish »

Fairly recent figure line from Eaglemoss covers Batman through the decades-- here is the 60s version;

Who knows how deep this will go, could we see movie and TV versions too? There are also versions from the 1940s, 50s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s and 10s-- the 40s one should have been labeled the 30s because he only wore this exact costume once in May 1939;

I'm in for the 40s one despite the kind of soft sculpt-- they're about 5" tall-- because it matches the crude "Bob Kane" style-- I'm not as impressed with the Dick Sprang 50s one but I do like the 70s one even though it looks almost the same as the 80s one.

Seach Bigbadtoystore.com for Batman Decades and they'll come up.

Or the Eaglemoss site. The 60’s version is selling out quickly

I had a look at the Eaglemoss USA site. I'm interested in the figures from the '60s, ''70s, '80s' and '90s. I'll check at my comic shop where my visits have dropped from weekly a couple years ago to bi-annually as there just seems to be so little of interest emerging onto the market.

Now here's an old Batman 66 resin figure that is the same scale. He appears shorter because the Eaglemoss figure is on a base with a Bat symbol

Eaglemoss has a good deal on these right now. Just ordered the Debut, 50s, and 60s figures.

I ordered the 40s and 50s figures.
Both were broken inside the packaging so I complained to Eaglemoss.
They got back right away and said they'd reship the figures.
The second shipment arrived and once again both figures were broken inside the packaging.
Contacted Eaglemoss and asked for a refund which they gave me.
Really disappointed in this situation as the figures are very well done, but extremely fragile.

Bummer. It seems all my stuff arrived safely including the Dark Knight returns Cowl, a great companion piece for Chuck’s 1/3 scale 66 bust

A search on the Eaglemoss site doesn’t show any of these figures... what am I doing wrong? Searching for “batman decades”, “batman”.... none of them show up.

Well, chums, unfortunately I'm done with Eaglemoss. Three figures arrived today, all with horrible paint apps and one broken.

Not the first time I've had rotten paint on an Eaglemoss. Lesson learned.

Got replacement figures that were as bad if not worse than the previous one sent. One of them had BOTH ankles broken.

Stay far, far way from Eaglemoss products, chums.

Instead of spending that money on Eaglemoss junk that gets broken in shipping, why not purchase Jim Beard's new book "ZLONK! ZOK! ZOWIE! The Subterranean Blue Grotto Guide to Batman '66 - Season One". Heck, for the price of one broken figure you can buy TWO copies - one to keep and one to gift! Go to Amazon NOW!

Hear, hear! I’m so much happier poring over Jim Beard’s book than I would be wringing my hands over a broken statue!
